I will share a simple and easy yet a healthy recipe, Tofu in Garlic Sauce.. Preparation will just take 15-20 minutes. Tofu is made from soybean curd, is naturally gluten free and low in calorie, contains no cholesterol and excellent source of protein, iron and calcium. Since i am pregnant, i make sure that i eat healthy and watchful on every food i eat. always remember to eat just right amount of anything.. Too much of something is bad for you, right?
So here's my dish for my co-preggos out there :) Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Tofu, washed and cut into bite sized.
Cornstarch
Canola Oil
Garlic, minced
Oyster Sauce
Sugar
Green Chili's for garnish
Preparation:
Roll each tofu piece in cornstarch to coat.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu pieces until golden brown. Set aside.
Remove excess oil in the same pan except for 1 tablespoon and fry garlic until brown.
Add oyster sauce and sugar, give it a little stir.
Then add the tofu and stir until tofu pieces is coated by sauce.
Sprinkle with green chilli's for garnish and Voila!
