Recently, i have been fond of cooking different pasta recipes. This recipe i will share with you is my version of Spaghetti Bolognese. Actually, its my first time to try this recipe and i can say that it was a success. Bolognese is an Italian dish and is a meat-based sauce. I love to eat this with buttered toast. Here it is:
Ingredients:
Extra Olive Oil
Garlic
White Onion
Ground Beef
Celery
Carrots
Tomatoes
Tomato Sauce
Fresh Milk
Basil
Mozarella Cheese or Cheedar Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Salt and Pepper
Spaghetti (cook at al dente)
You will need Food Processor or Blender to mash the Celery, Carrots and Tomatoes.
Preparation:
Saute Garlic and White Onion until translucent, add the ground beef & salt to taste then simmer until cooked then set aside.
In a separate casserole, put the tomato sauce cooked until it simmers, then add the mashed celery, carrots and tomatoes.
Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.
Add fresh milk and basil.
Add small amount water (preferably water where your pasta is boiled from)
Add Mozarella Cheese or Cheddar Cheese and let it simmer. You may need to stir the sauce from time to time to avoid from burning.
Mix the cooked ground beef with the sauce and simmer in low fire for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare your Spaghetti in a separate serving dish. Topped with bolognese sauce, cheese and garnish some of the basil and Voila! :)
Note: Mommies, just estimate the exact ingredients depending upon your desired number of servings and your taste too. :)
Happy Cooking Mommies!
